Method turned 20 last year, and, since its inception, the agency has been instrumental in shaping the concepts of experience design that we all know so well today. Method has core offices in both New York and London, with a focus on full-circle services delivering everything from strategic design to product implementation for its varied client roster.
We like to work on projects that will help shape the experiences you remember. That’s our foundation for how we go to market and what drives us
Executive Director of Design
Method's London studio serves their clients in Europe and beyond. Set in the heart of the London design community in Shoreditch, East London, they are located in a creative landmark, The Tea Building.
Their New York studio is located in SoHo, bordering Chinatown and Little Italy, with easy access to great shopping, restaurants, and people watching.
Method has lots of capabilities and tends to look for people who have skills across:
Method has a focus on full-circle services delivering everything from strategic design to product implementation for its varied client roster. Method’s relationship with its parent company, GlobalLogic, allows it to provide an end-to-end service. GlobalLogic provides access to 17,000 engineers and hundreds of in-house designers, in locations around the world.

Helen Le Voi, Executive Director of Design
Method’s recruitment strategy is very much a values fit. This translates into sought-after traits like an inquiring mind, an entrepreneurial worldview, and, most importantly, a keenness to learn and grow.
They look for people who are explorers and thinkers who want to make something of value for real people that will be used in the world and can make a difference.
We’re hiring someone who we want to stay around, who will complement the team and share the values we do. We’re a close-knit bunch and we work in a collaborative way
Executive Director of Design
Everyone has some sort of side hustle because they're not very good at keeping still. One unique way the agency fosters this entrepreneurial spirit is by encouraging its studio team to run with their ideas. For example, one studio member knew a neighbor who had been affected by their child’s mental health struggles and thought, what can we do? There must be a way to use technology to help identify when a child is having issues, earlier. The team established a non-client project to better understand the problem and potential solutions and drew from its own skill sets to experiment with how artificial intelligence could promote the early identification of mental health issues.
The result was an emphatic AI solution that the team prototyped, tested and iterated upon -- there was no existing database at the time to read facial expressions. The project was done in collaboration with a leading UK mental health charity and the outcome was a real and tangible solution called FINE (read more about it here) that helped set the standard for how best to design with children in mind. (FINE was also nominated for two Fast Company awards for “innovation by design” and “world changing ideas”.)
Method has effectively built this approach into its brand -- it looks to its own talented and diverse team for real and persistent problems that it can help solve, based around individual experiences, interests, trends or gaps in the market.
