The Food and Beverage industry is ripe for innovation and there aren’t many founders better positioned than this duo.
About the role
As a Founding Engineer, you will be working closely with the technical cofounder to build, build and build. He is still very hands-on and is looking for an engineer who will complement his backend expertise. But make no mistake, this is a fullstack role! Here are two high priority features that you'll develop:
1. A mobile app that will be used at tableside by the customer
2. A drink list optimizer - an ML tool that will assist the restaurant in curating their wine list
The CTO wants to develop a strong partnership with you - learning from you, leaning on your leadership as the team scales, and strategizing product development. This is a role that can have a major influence on the engineering culture and provide growth opportunities.
About your background and skills
Sr Full-stack Engineer:
- Shipping end-to-end features in Javascript and Python
- Ensuring your solutions are scalable to millions of users
- Iterate and expand on the MVP to create a first-of-its-kind app
- A self-start who is up for a founding engineer opportunity
- Ability to help shape the tech stack & architecture
- Help build and scale out the team
