About the role

As a Principal on the innovation team, you will be leading innovation advisory engagements and consulting projects with corporate clients, from the initial brief to the final deliverable. Working closely with start-ups and the broader technology ecosystem to generate value for their corporate clients and portfolio companies.Managing and motivating cross-functional teams, both internally and externally. Crafting and communicating solid strategic recommendations for a variety of clients. Developing thought leadership on emerging technology innovation within the consumer and retail sectors. Supporting new business development efforts. You will also regularly interact with executives from FTSE 100/Fortune 500 companies, requiring exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to foster strong client relationships.

About your background and skills

Ideal candidates have a minimum of 7 years of experience working in innovation or strategy in a start-up or within a corporate innovation team. You should also have significant experience leading projects, teams and managing senior client relationships. You should be a lateral thinker adept at uncovering the themes and critical pieces of information that can spark innovation and new strategies. You should be self-propelled by restless curiosity, resourceful in scouring the world for insight, comfortable in a fast-paced working environment, fascinated by the changing world around you, and be able to move seamlessly from high altitude thinking to the tangible and practical.
